To access the Password Administration – Manager dialog box

  1. From the Main Menu, click the Tools (F4) button or press the F4 key.  The Tools/Admin Menu 1 of 2 screen appears.
  2. From the Tools/Admin Menu 1 of 2, click the Tools/Admin Menu 2 of 2 (Alt-2) button or press the Alt-2 keys.  The Tools/Admin Menu 2 of 2 screen appears.
  3. Click the Security (F5) button or press the F5 key.

The following dialog box will appear.

Click Yes or No.

  1. The Password Administration – Manager dialog box appears.

  1. Type the operator ID, password, and name.  The password entered must follow these guidelines:
    1. The password must have alphanumeric characters and at least one numeric character.
    2. The password length has a minimum of 1 character and a maximum of 24 characters.  This number is configured for your particular agent network settings.
    3. You can not reuse a password from the last X amount of passwords that have been used. The X number is configured according to your particular agent network settings.
  2. Using the following table as a guide, select one of the following:

Add a new record.

A message appears requesting you to retype the password.

Retype the password, then select OK.

View

Displays the table with the record.

Update

Modify an existing record.

Delete

Delete a specific record.

A confirmation message appears asking if you are sure.

Select Yes.

Cancel

Return to the Tools/Admin Menu 2 of 2.

Reset

Clear the dialog box.

List Records

Display the Password Database listing all records by Operator ID and Name.

Display the Password Database

Select OK.
